APPLICATION

The tablet press makes the tablets according to a pre-determined design. Punches and dies set into the tablet press to actually shape the tablets. These machines make tablets for a variety of industries; however, the largest application of tablet compression machine is pharmaceuticals and vitamins.

Tablet compression tooling determines the shape and configuration of the finished tablet. Tablets made for human consumption need a design that appears pleasing and easy to swallow. Tablet compression tooling also applies coatings for tablets to make them easier to swallow to prevent dissolution.
