High Speed Automatic Glue Labeling Machine Model SHL - 150

SHIV SHL - 150 automatically labels round containers-glass plastic with warparound labels in the vertical position by using cold glue.

SHL-150 is rugged, versatile and engineered for reliability and enhance operational efficiency.

In addition, it has several exclusive features which offer additional advantages.

Operation :

The round container is transferred on to the moving convey or from the in built UNSCRAMBLER and positioned accurately by a feed WORM for warp-around operation at the labelling point.

The rotating GLUE CYLINDER receives cold glue from the GLUE POT which subsequently gets transffered on to the GLUE Rubber Roller, Finally a fine, even and thin film of glue is transffered on to the GLUING PAD.

The round container on the moving conveyor at the feed WORM actuates a sequence switch which results in the oscillation of the label box.

The rotating GLUING PAD which is aligned with oscillating LABEL BOX picks up only one label each time.

The pick up cylinder receives labels with the help of pick up fingers from the gluing pad. The pick up cylinder holds the labels perfectly due to vacum during its rotational movement. Simultaneously the pick up finger move inside.

The round container which is positioned by the FEED WORM at the labelling point is now wrapped around with the glued label when the round container rotates by virtue of strip belts of the pick up cylinder. Finally the moving container further passes through a rubber pressing belt with ensures neat and perfect fixing of the label.

Salient Features :

  • Stainless Steel cladding or hard chrome plating of all exposed pars to ensure long life and resistance against corrosion.
  • Special design and heat treatment of all moving / rotating parts to contain normal wear and tear.
  • Special self aligning bearings ensure smooth and trouble free rotation of the parts. These self aligning bearings help in quick assembly during periodical maintenance of the unit. They also allow more flexibility in maintaining tolerances.
  • No container, no label- an electrical sensing device avoids wastage of labels. It also helps in keeping the unit neat and clean.
  • Minimum change over time is required from one size of container or label to another.
  • Quick change of speed or the adjustment of the complete system and synchronisation is possible manually with the help of a hand wheel provided on the side of the unit.
  • An in built digital counter provides continuous inforamation of the total number of containers labelled.
  • Suitable for overlap labelling and flag type labelling where the length of label is more than the circumferences of the container.
  • A Highly efficient vacuum pump develops jus sufficient vacuum to hold labels big or small, on the pick up cylinder.
  • A specially designed variable speed gear box works silently.
  • Complete protection of the motors is ensured by the contactors and relays of appropriate ratings.

Special Features:

The unscrambeler is an integral part of the SHL - 150 which is synchronised with its main drive. Any variation of the speed of the unit results in a proportional change in the speed of the unscrambler.

This special feature of SHL - 150 helps in receiving containers through the protected enclosure, thereafter unscramble correctly and finally guide the same with the help of guide rails on to the conveyor for correct orient at the required proportional speed.
